Performance Tune-up Sale

Maybe you got our email announcing the Performance Tune-up Sale earlier this month. If you were lucky, you got your bike in before everyone else and are out enjoying the responsive shifting, crisper braking and smoother riding that come from a Performance Tune.

The Performance Tune is usually a hundred bucks--and let me be the first to say that it's worth every penny. If you have a race coming up, haven't had your bike in for service in more than six months, or are experiencing a less-than-optimal ride after a regular tune-up, nothing beats the Performance Tune as far as value for your money.

"So why the reduced price?" you ask.  Great question. We want you to have an amazing experience this spring on your bike. And without a little push from us, you might settle for second-best. We're not the kind of bike shop that lets our customers settle. If you're not having an optimal experience on your bike, it's probably becase we didn't sell it to you (and if we did sell it to you, you need to bring it back in so we can take care of you!) We have expert technicians and salespeople, a dedicated fit-specialist, and some of the best bikes in the world available from our store. We're not satisfied until you're out riding.

The Performance Tune is a more in-depth tune than the basic. We overhaul the bottom bracket and the headset, cleaning and relubing as we go; fully adjust the shifters, brakes, derailleurs, and wheels. We replace parts that are wearing out (and it goes without saying that the cost of parts is not included), clean it up, tighten it down and polish it nice so that when you pick it up you wonder if you're going to pay extra for what looks like a brand-new bike (don't worry, you won't).

And all of that for only 75 bucks. During the month of February.
