Basic Tune-Up (Recommended!)

  The basic tune-up is designed with the average rider in mind.  We go over the entire bike, cleaning, adjusting and lubricating.  We assess part wear and recommend part replacement.  Here’s what’s included:

  -Brake Alignment and Adjustment

  -Cable Tension Testing

  -Shifting/Derailleur Adjustment

  -Chain-wear Analysis

  -Straighten (True) Wheels

  -Inflate Tires to Proper Pressure

  -Replace Tubes as Necessary (parts are additional)

  -Total Bolt Tension Check

  -Bike Cleaning

Performance Tune-Up

  The performance tune-up designed for frequent all-weather riders.  The Performance Tune includes all aspects of the Basic Tune and adds:

  -Drive Train Removal and Cleaning

    -Remove Chain

      -Soak/Clean/Relubricate

    -Remove Front/Rear Derailleur

      -Check for Signs of Wear

      -Disassemble/Clean/Relubricate/Reassemble

      -Align Dereilleur Hanger

  -Straighten (True) Wheels with Greater Precision

  -Stress-test Shifting/Derailleur

Performance Overhaul

  The performance tune-up designed for serious riders.  The Performance Overhaul includes all aspects of the Basic and Performance Tunes and adds:

  -Frame Stripped Completely Down

  -Bottom Bracket Removal/Inspection/Relubrication/Reinstallation

  -Headset Removal/Bearing Inspection/Relubrication/Reinstallation

  -Cables/Housing All Replaced

  -Hubs Disassembled/Bearings Inspected/Bearings Replaced as Necessary (parts are additional)/Bearings Repacked/Reassembled

  -All moving parts Inspected/Relubricated and Reassembled

  -Bike Completely Reassembled and Tested
